Charles River Project Manager recruitment
HSBC Global Asset Management is commencing a significant Front to Back renewal programme of their key systems processes. We are looking for someone to take responsibility for project managing the European implementations of CRD in the Global Asset Management business. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of Global Front Office (Charles River - Compliance, Dealing Portfolio Management) and a strong project management background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Working with senior business IT management to oversee the implemention of the CRD vendor system into the European businesses.
Working closely with the business to define user / functional requirements for compliance, trading and portfolio management phase of the project.
Assist in the definitions of project and business operating models for implementation at a local and global level
Contribute to the front office data strategy and provide input the data management process.
Production, quality assurance and sign-off of all documents required as part of the project lifecycle (including project reporting forecasting).
Validate documented requirements with all stakeholders.
Issue identification and resolution as part of project lifecycle
Translating user requirements to appropriate IT plans and solutions.
Development of a test strategy where appropriate.
The day to day running of the UAT testing in conjunction with business change functions where they exist
Provide support to the business throughout the UAT process.
Building good working relationships with other IT departments and relevant business areas.
Ensure smooth transition to live operations in conjunction with production supportexcellent understanding of Asset Management business and Fund Management process from Portfolio Management, Order management and Compliance. You will have strong specialist knowledge in implementing Global Front Office Systems, demonstrated experience in implementing Charles River, CRIMS and a detailed understanding of CRD configuration.
