My client is an established provider of asset management, retirement, and investment fund products which is rapidly expanding its global presence. Job Requirements
• Be responsible for financial analyses in the finance department or responsible for a division providing financial accounting services for head office and/ or Firm companies.
• Apply principles of accounting to analyse financial information and prepare financial reports.
• Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
• Analyse financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers.
• Audit contracts, orders and vouchers and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
• Install, modify, document and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
• Make recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures.
Competency Requirements
• Chartered Accountant
• Must have knowledge of current IFRS statements.
• Good working knowledge on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
• Good working knowledge on Accounting Package (Pastel, Oracle, Caseware etc)
