Job Area: This position is part of Chase's Strategy and Analytics team, specifically supporting the Customer Data Initiative (CDI). The mission of CDI is to collect and analyze data about Chase's consumers and prospects across all Retail and Card lines of business in order to make better decisions about marketing, underwriting, customer service, and collections. Job Description: CDI Project Managers lead cross-functional teams in 1-2 high-visibility, simultaneous projects. Typical PM role responsibilities include setting scope, drafting requirements, creating and syndicating a project plan, overseeing implementation, driving effective meetings, ensuring follow-up, and reporting progress to senior executives. CDI projects typically touch multiple businesses, are highly technical, and involve coordination across multiple functions. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully delivering broad complex projects. In addition, the candidate would be highly confident, collaborative, detail oriented, and outgoing. They would thrive in a high-pressure and high-expectations environment, where each project assigned to them would likely have millions of dollars of impact to the business. They would be comfortable with and capable of working with senior executives, effectively communicating with them at the appropriate level of project detail. Examples of past and current projects: Right Party Contact (RPC) project: CDI has been engaged to create a center of excellence around the capture, retention, and distribution of customer contact information. The CDI team built and deployed a quality assessment model to help drive operational efficiencies in the use of contact data. Credit Management: The goal of this initiative is to identify and build highly predictive credit risk triggers from internal data for existing customers. Team members analyze the value in utilizing internal leading indicators of risk in underwriting and line management decisions, and work with IT and the businesses to enable triggers to be utilized across a range of decision systems. Income and Asset: This initiative will combine internal and external sources of data to provide an estimate of customer's income and wealth. Team members analyze the quality of different income variables in various LOB decision systems, and will develop systems to provide income estimates into operational / decision systems across Chase.
