CHC Nurse Assessor
Hays Healthcare is now recruiting for Continuing Healthcare Nurse assessors. I have multiple vacancies / jobs available for a number of RGN, RMN and RNLD nurses to work as part of a Continuing Healthcare team based in York. You will be expected to travel around the North Yorkshire region.
You will be involved in undertaking Continuing Health Care assessments for people in their own homes, in nursing homes or as part of their discharge from hospital. As a nurse assessor you will be working closely with individuals with general and complex health needs. You will be working closely with carers and families as well as a range of Health and Social Care Professionals to ensure that those who are eligible can have their package of care funded by the NHS. You will be part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team making recommendations in respect of eligibility for NHS Continuing Health Care.
I am looking for a motivated, enthusiastic RGN’s with excellent assessment and communication skills and who enjoy working in a friendly team environment. You must be able to think on your feet and use your own initiative. These positions offer full time hours, Monday to Friday 9 – 5pm. Each contract will be for a minimum of three months with the possibility of being extended.
Desirable
• Previous CHC assessor experience
• Previous community or district nursing experience working with the elderly
For this role you need to be available for full time hours, able to start once you are cleared for work through Hays, have you own car, have a valid driver’s license and a valid NMC pin number. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced CRB check and must be able to provide back to back references to cover the last 3 years.
