Chemical Dependency Professional Schedule : Full-time Shift : Variable Hourly Rate : $18.56 + Depending on Experience Job Category : Mental/Behavioral Health Location : Washington-Lacey Providence is calling a Chemical Dependency Professional to Providence St. Peter Chemical Dependency Center in Lacey, WA. We are seeking a Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) to provide counseling to chemically dependent patients and their families. In this position you will: Develop a biopsychosocial assessment, create a treatment plan, and counsel patients in a behavioral health setting. Maintain a positive therapeutic relationship with each patient while maintaining patient and staff boundaries. Use open and clear communication with patients, family members, and multidisciplinary medical professionals while maintaining patient and employer confidentiality. Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Required qualifications for this position include: Associate?s degree in counseling or related field Current Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) license in Washington State Current CPR certification Preferred qualifications for this position include: Bachelor?s Degree in Counseling or related field Experience working with dual diagnosis patients About the hospital you will serve.
