Chemical / Nuclear Associate Engineer

Tetra Tech is currently growing in the commercial nuclear sector and seeking qualified engineering candidates. An opening presently exists for an entry level engineer with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from an accredited US university and with an interest in the nuclear power field as a career choice. Pre-employment drug screen required. The chemical engineering degree will be used to support our aging management business line. We additionally require that candidates have at least 1 or 2 years of experience with a Nuclear Power Plant Owner Utility as an intern or full time engineer. Successful candidates will have acceptably completed college level classes in statics, mechanics of materials, electrical circuits, thermodynamics, heat transfer processes, fluid mechanics, and control systems in addition to organic chemistry, chemical kinetics, and at least one course in nuclear power engineering.

Candidates shall have already taken the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. It is desirable that candidates be proficient in use of MAXIMO, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint, work well with others as part of a team, exhibit excellent writing and analytical capabilities, and have demonstrated leadership skills. This candidate must be willing to relocate to and work in Ann Arbor, Michigan and also be willing to travel as needed to support future business and marketing requirements. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
