Description: - CHEMICAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - McALESTER, OK (1202804) Job Description CHEMICAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - McALESTER, OK ( Job Number: 1202804) Role Synopsis Baker Hughes International (BHI) is currently seeking an experienced Chemical Service Representative for the Production product line in the McAlester, OK area. This position is responsible for Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and basic computer skills with excel and reporting tools. Ability to work well and communicate well with others, in accordance with Baker Hughes policies. Additional responsibilities include working with the team members and communicating with the customer, under limited supervision. This position is a critical foundation for BHI contracts. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities * Support field sales by providing technical assistance, delivering chemical, testing of water samples, pulling samples, monitoring programs. * Inventory chemical surveillance and chemical pump operating at the right rate. * Maintain chemical pump function, inventory surveillance and product ordering for chemicals. * Service reporting in regard to pump function in the field. * Take samples and test water samples and crude. * Submit results of samples to account managers for recommendation to the client. * Alters product dosages rates and/or changes product applications in order to meet customer defined objectives. * Activates/deactivates feed systems on the basis of safety or performance related determinations. * Troubleshoots and corrects systems that are out of the customer provided specifications, to determine the need to bring in additional support if the problems are determined to be too extensive or unique. * Determines the need to order product and place product orders for customers who elect to have the order fulfilment process. * Handles special projects, as assigned. * Conducts all business activities in accordance with BakerHughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes CoreValues. Basic Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * General technical knowledge of company's products and services and their applications to customer needs and requirements. * Strong problem solving skills. * Good customer service skills. * Ability to work well and communicate well with others. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Able to be on call 24/as needed. Able to communicate well with team members and customers. Computer skills using excel and email.
