Aufgabengebiet

  • The Chemical Technology Manager will serve as Advisor and central point of contact to other technical Units regarding all chemical issues involved in the pulp and paper-production-process
  • Provides analysis of all issues of technical change related to chemical matters
  • Leads Project Teams of specialists on chemical matters to maintain productivity, functionality and quality
  • Organisation and moderation of Project Teams and Meetings
  • Helps management of complex projects of other Company Organisations and Teams
  • Regulary follows up on chemical market, as well as maintaining contacts within the industry
  • Serve as the central point of contact for suppliers of chemical products
  • Reports on issues relevant for the companies chemical activities, chemical benchmarks
  • Provides expert judgement and analysis on questions from management on chemical issues
  • Assists on training and mentoring of junior members of operations teams

Anforderungsprofil

  • University degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • At least 4-5 years experience in chemical industry.
  • Pulp and Paper experience preferred.
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent Organisational Skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured working approach
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft-Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams
  • person whom others will seek out for advice and counsel
  • Hands on mentality
  • Positive attitude to getting things done
  • Travel time: 25%, within Europe
  • English - business fluent, German - business fluent

Vergütungspaket

(Re. GlGB: The position is subject to group V of the Austrian collective agreement "Papierindustrie" with a legal minimum wage of € 51,635.22 gross/year plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.)
