Chemist Lab Tech Job Description: Laboratory techs operate test processes for determining the composition and performance of catalysts, including preparation of catalyst samples, loading and operation of test reactors or spectrometers, collections and analysis of gas samples from the reactor, summarization of data, and unloading of reactor. Moderate amount of wet bench chemistry and operation of analytical chemistry instrumentation.
