The Chemistry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the chemistry quality testing function for raw drugs, inprocess products and final products at the Hospira - Rocky Mount facility. A successful candidate must have demonstrated leadership skills as well as a strong background in chemistry at a production facility.
This third shift assignment will include:
- The supervision and training of approximately 20 employees
- Maintaining a challenging testing schedule that meets the needs of the facility
- Interaction and problem solving with lab analysts and production areas
The Chemistry Supervisor position requires a BS degree in Chemistry or a related science with a concentration in chemistry coursework. Preference is for candidates to have a minimum of 3 years experience in a chemistry laboratory with 2 years in a leadership role.
