Chicago – C# developer for Investment Bank.
Opportunity for an experienced C# developer to join an Investment Bank’s Chicago office. The successful candidate will join front office team focused on options market making. This is a growing initative for the bank and they have located the trading and research team in Chicago in order to attract local talent with experience of market making.
The technology team is responsible for creation of all proprietary software and systems to support the market making business in USA. As a C# developer in the group you will focus on aspects of front end / GUI development as well as core business logic.
Much of the trading algorithm code and market connectivity is developed using C++ but there are a number of applications required by the traders that will be developed using .NET technology.
Applicants are expected to have a detailed knowledge of C# and associated .NET technology. Knowledge of C++, networks, algorithms, data-structures are also valuable skills, but your remit, if successful will only cover C# and .NET development.
Knowledge of financial markets, developing front office applications etc is advantageous, but not pre-requisite.
