Descrizione: -Implement, and monitor operating and accounting procedures to ensure company policy affecting financial matters are observed and assets registered;

-Timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles;

-Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings with respected deadline;

-Perform General Accounting functions, such as conducting variance analyses on general ledger and miscellaneous accounts, resolving discrepancies, monthly account reconciliation and matching points, financial and fixed asset schedules, booking of accruals, monthly closings, cost accounting, and preparation of month-end and general financial reports.

-Manage the Accounts Receivable function including receiving, verifying, and checking funds customer accounts, and balancing daily and end-of-month transactions using files from back-office system.

-Manage the Accounts Payable function with respect to generating accurate and timely loading of supplier invoices, reviewing invoices and generating payments, and balancing daily and end-of-month transactions;

-Manage the supplier's issues resolution;

-Work closely with department managers to ensure expenses are properly accounted for;

-Daily liaise with external auditors and assist with the year end financial statement audits;

-Remain informed and ensure compliance with new laws and regulations in Italy applicable to the company in the area of accounting and generally accepted accounting principles, with external assistance;

-Prepare monthly tax filings (VAT, Corporation Tax, others taxes, etc).

-Manage to make sure that all the bookings are recorded in the accounting system;

-Be responsible for recording all documents impacting financial situation;

-Assist others departments when necessary;

Note that this tasks or their priority may change according to the workload.

Profilo ricercato: With a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and six years of experience, including a minimum of three years as supervisory, the ideal andidate, reporting directly to the Southern Europe Finance Manager, must have the following task:

-Experience with accounting software and with ERP systems (experience with ERP Sage X3 would be an advantage);

-Rigorous, must have a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles;

-Hard worker in a fast evolving market and environment;

-Results oriented and good team player;

-Previous experience of the luxury industry is an advantage;

-Proactive and positive approach towards problem solving;

-Must be resilient and handle change well;

-Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and have experience managing a small team. Good relationship with team;

-Excellent analytical and organizational skills required;

-Ability to identify and communicate accounting issues and provide recommendations as appropriate;

-Italian at a native level, and verbal and written fluency in English and French.
