Chief Accountant – Malaysia recruitment
The role: Reports to the Finance Director, Malaysia, the CAO will maintain books and records of the Company in accordance with statutory requirements and generally accepted accounting practices/ guidelines/ standards. 5 direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely financial reporting for the group which will include coordinating the preparation of financial statement, reports, analysis or statistics, forecast and other information for management.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
- Responsible for preparation and review of tax computations, submission of tax returns and liaison with tax agents and tax authorities on tax matters
- Review and ensure that all old outstanding transactions or un-reconciled items in the accounts are checked, investigated and resolved.
- Perform periodic check on receivables
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of accounting experience.
- ACCA/ CPA
