Chief Administrative Officer – Fixed Income recruitment

Responsibilities:
• Liaison for Fixed Income Americas activities by monitoring Trading and Sales sponsored initiatives on a high level (liaison with ops/finance/tax/treasury/IT) to review operational dashboard, analyze issues, determine action plans, projects and budgets
• Work confidentially on issues related to departmental budget, headcount, and staff planning
• Fixed Income coordinator for all internal bank auditors and regulatory bodies
• Assist in the compilation and delivery of presentations to management
• Responsible for coordinating training programs for front office professionals
• Facilitate front office recruitment programs for Graduate Analyst and Associate in coordination with HR
• Responsible for the incident reporting management team for internal and external audits Follow up on audit  points documentation and reinforcement of procedures
• Point of contact for Fixed Income internal/external complaints
• Contribute to the development of Fixed Income front office operational and administrative policies, standards and practices
• Work closely with senior management on defining, documenting, implementing, monitoring and tracking departmental operating procedures and metrics
• Assist in development and oversight of effective internal controls including tracking expenditure approvals processes, Key Performance Indicators, etc.
• Review service contracts and reinforcement of expense travel and entertainment/ market data
• Coordinate front office plans concerning seating arrangements floor plan and facilities
• Coordinate Fixed Income front office Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans. Work with team admins to ensure the plans are up to date and information disseminated to individuals
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operational realities within Fixed Income Front Office, ensuring front office support roles are in sync with the strategy. Take a leadership role in the establishment of indicators to monitor the administrative performance of the front office support roles against front office goals
• Develop and administer front office support personnel-related policies and practices. Contribute to the development of front office support role objectives and in the evaluation of performance against fixed income goals including annual reviews, compensation and coverage. Provide coaching where necessary. Foster a staff culture that supports the Fixed Income strategy.

Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in financial services
• Prior experience in a business management function or in a COO or CAO role a plus
• Strong organizational skills, good communication skills
• Ability to independently face off to senior management
