After gaining a university degree, prefereably in computer
science, you have spend at least 5-10 years in a large,
multinational IT organization with focus on innovative IT solutions
as well as identifying and solving architectural issues to build up
your experience. By now, you have a proven track record in similar
positions and an impressive portfolio at your disposal:
- Proven technology leadership track record
- Successful engagement with customers, specifically IT
Management, Senior Management and CIO or CTO - Diverse knowledge of IT and Telecommunication industry, market,
trends, technologies and key players overall as well as specialised
in IT Operations - Strong capabilities in the successful application of methods
like IT Architecture - Profound understanding of Microsoft, Linux, Sun Solaris and AIX
server technologies - Broad practical experience in working with databases like MS
SQL and UNIX, basic knowledge of SAP Max DB and SAP HANA and in
data base duplication - Deep knowledge of virtualizing platforms like MS Hyper-V and
Citrix-Xen - Strong network know-how in switching, routing and
firewalls - Excellent understanding of storage area networks (SAN) and
network attached storage (NAS) - Proven track record in presenting to Top Management groups at
board meetings or at conferences - Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, on
average three days per week - Fluency in German and English
