Chief Business Risk and Control Manager – Private Banking recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Set up and implement risk control framework
- Balance between client service and thorough management of risk
- Regular analysis on risk control
- Follow up with all trades (i.e. investigation of any suspected trades and escalation where needed to senior management)
- Leading a team, regularly check different sorts of trades / products, ensuring they comply with regulations
- Set up risk control framework, make sure different procedures and documentation is in place in order to reflect Gov, legal bodies and reflect internal company rules
- Minimise different types of risk that might incur
- Negotiate and liaise with different departments in regards to their transactions
- Responsible to take charge of making sure everything is in place – KYC procedures
- Be responsible for Private Banking system, check and maintain the system
- To be the risk management representative for PB team
- Make sure all front line employees have all licensing
- Research on potential risk management trends, and understand if proposed new products / new transactions that may be offered are within the Reg. requirements
- Budgeting for the team
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 10 years Private Banking related experience
- Familiar with PB regulations and how to regulators requirements, how PB function works, and how to improve risk control framework
- Risk management and risk control experience and knowledge
- Good leadership, management and organisation skills
- Good communication skills, good writing skills (Chinese and English)
- Independent, talking care of problems, able to analyse problems and resolve them
- Take ownership of challenges, responsible and enthusiastic
- Have had good risk management capability
