Our client is a PRC investment bank.
The job:
- Responsible for the global economies, with focus on Greater China.
- Perform in-depth analysis on and forecast for economic and financial market developments and produce regular research reports on global markets
- Direct and manage macroeconomic research, strategic research and investment management teams
- Co-ordinate and provide analytical input to the economic research of Greater China countries.
- Comment on balance of payments, exchange rates, banking system, prospects for economic recovery, and the impact of structural reforms detailed in various Euro stabilization programmes.
- Review on financial model building
- Interpret the result of the stress testing of the key indicators of various banking system and macro economic issues
- Formulate strategy on FX and Fixed Income
- Design daily and weekly Asian economic and strategy reports
- Advise sales managers on business and investment strategies and decisions
- Generate investment ideas and work closely with fund managers
The requirements
- Minimum 10 years as Economist or Head of research in a sizable global financial institution.
- Holder of a higher degree in economics, preferably with a PhD
- Excellent command of Putonghua and English. You must write Chinese
