Key Accountabilites
Working in our corporate head office in Zurich, Switzerland, the Chief Editor plays a critical role in ensuring clear and effective strategic corporate communications targeting multiple stakeholders. You will be developing and maintaining a global network of contributors to craft communications for print and online publications such as the annual report, financial and business reports, and corporate brochures. Your tasks will also include editorial responsibility for Group information on our website, and further development of our online communications. Other tasks include editing and proof-reading for key internal functions to ensure consistent messaging and wording.
Skills and Experience
In addition to a degree in journalism or equivalent, select candidates should possess several years of corporate editorial and writing experience, including annual reports, as well as extensive experience in interviewing and research, planning, editing and producing printed publications, and managing information on inter/intranets. Additional experience in coordinating a virtual team and dealing effectively with communications from and for senior management is essential, while a solid financial services background and broad industry knowledge is a plus. Written and spoken English as a native speaker is required, and basic knowledge of German would be beneficial.
