Motion simulators are used for testing and calibration of inertial sensors (e.g. gyroscopes and accelerometers), Inertial Navigation Systems, stabilized optronic systems, Electronic Stability Control systems, as well as for simulating flight motion of missiles.

- Manage and direct Electrical Engineering; provide technical guidance and review of electrical aspects of system design.
- Mentor and support the development of direct reports; administer performance and salary reviews.
- Perform electrical engineering tasks to support Engineering and Manufacturing departments as needed.
- Provide pre-sale (proposal, budgeting) and post-sale Engineering support.
- Organize and conduct weekley engineering meetings to record and report status.
- Support project design and risk reviews.
- Assist with in-house Test Engineering and creation of Acceptance Test Plans.
- Support RD efforts as needed.
- Support Quality Improvement initiatives, including internal training.
- Support Project Management with customer communications as needed.
- Mentor co-op and intern electrical engineers.
Required Skills:
- B.S.E.E. required, M.S.E.E. preferred.
- Preferred 10+ years experience in field of electrical engineering including experience in engineer-to-order, project-based manufacturing environment.
- Broad range of experience in servo-controlled electro-mechanical systems including experience with hydraulic controls and AC/DC motor controls.
- Must have a thorough understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficient in design and analysis of complex mixed signal and power circuits; able to create and review electrical assembly and subassembly drawings.
- Ability to apply effective problem-solving skills, project implementation and quality improvement processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
