Job Title: Chief Engineer-On Site Manager 

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Chief Engineer - On Site Manager in Cincinnati, OH. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Provide Leadership and Supervision for high performing maintenance teams in multiple facilities

·        Identify training needs, evaluate performance, provide coaching, and build trust

·        Oversee Environmental Health and Safety program and provide routine and job specific Safety training

·        Provide technical expertise and recommendations for repairs and alterations

·        Provide direction to continually improve service delivery for a high level of performance

·        Provide technical expertise to employees, customers, and company management

·        Direct, schedule, and observe all preventive maintenance work to ensure high standards and reliability

·        Control high standards of service delivery as Quality Control Inspector

·        Develop proposals for equipment repairs, energy efficient upgrades, and alteration projects

·        Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and guidelines

·        Understand and enforce all company policies and procedures 

·        Develop reports to management and customers summarizing service delivery performance indicators

·        Develop and enforce action plans for problem resolution and mitigate potential for re-occurrence

·        Control accuracy of Building Equipment Inventory, and Company Asset Inventory

·        Must be available 24/7 to respond to, and dispatch employees for emergency calls.

Qualifications: 

·        Must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and Building Automation Systems

·        Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, E Mail, and Internet applications 

·        Must understand Reliability Centered, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance methodologies

·        Must be familiar with applicable regulations and guidelines including NFPA, EPA, OSHA, ASHRAE, Etc.

·        Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees and customers

·        Ability to solve complex problems within tight time constraints

·        Must be able to understand financial terms and budgeting

·        Must understand Building Automation/Energy Management systems, preferably Siemens Apogee.

·        Ability to determine root cause of equipment failure, and develop action plans for corrections

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·        Must have a minimum of 7 years of recent, verifiable experience in high rise office buildings (500,000+ sqft)

·        Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant Supervisory or Managerial experience

·        Prefer technical or vocational training in multiple trades, HVAC. Electrical, Mechanical, plumbing, Etc.

·        Must have experience negotiating with vendors for supplies and subcontracted services

·        Must have Universal refrigerant certification applicable to EPA rule 608.
