Specific Job Description Under the Disability Case Processing System program, Lockheed Martin supports the full range of IT integration services supporting a multi-platform computing environment, including: information systems modernization initiatives, software engineering, project management, infrastructure services, data warehousing, database administration, research, planning, security, federal enterprise architecture initiatives, research and all levels of Internet, Intranet and Web portal initiatives and migrating legacy architecture to web-based platforms. All employees must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust. The selected candidate will be involved iwth all aspects of subcontractor oversight to include: -Developing a strong working relationship between Lockheed Martin, its subcontractor, and the customer representatives, -Maintaining clear insight into subcontractor costs and cost control methods, schedule and schedule control methods, and the technical development of their products - Developing and coordinating a technical team to provide technical definition, direction, and oversight -Coordinating all requirements development, cost and technical change orders, and buying off the delivered hardware and software. -Prepares status reports and presentations. Standard Job Description Manages subordinate teams overseeing major subcontractors or major, critical subcontracted systems. Directs and manages all cost, schedule and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor; briefs executive management and customer on the status and issues affecting performance or cost. Conducts program reviews with the subcontractor and program office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make/buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability. Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads team normally composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel.
