The Chief Investment Office (CIO) is a business unit within the Corporate Sector of JP Morgan Chase.
CIO is responsible for managing structural interest rate, currency and certain credit risks that are created from the day-to-day operations of the firm's primary Lines of Business across the company.
CIO manages a global investment portfolio in order to manage these risks as part of the firm-wide Asset-Liability Management process.

Chief Equity Strategist
The successful candidate with report directly to the Chief Investment Officer-Americas.
Responsibilities will entail:

helping to facilitate the overall equity market views for the portfolio
devising top-down and bottom up views on equity markets, sector rotation and asset allocation strategies; and for developing actionable cross-sector and stock themes.
developing a variety of historically based empirical frameworks to analyze equity market behavior and base strategy recommendations on: fundamental models for earnings, the behavior and drivers of equity multiples and the equity discount rate, macro drivers of sector performance, flows and positioning and quant factor models.

Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will have the following skill set/personality profile:

seasoned equity market portfolio strategist noted for profitable investment recommendations (may currently be serving as a Chief Equity Strategist or Portfolio Manager with a top global bank or money manager)
rigorous approach to research/strong macroeconomic thinker
excellent communicator
