We are looking for a CEO to join and lead our young and dynamic team in London.
Mission:
The Chief Executive Officer of MIG Capital Europe (London) is responsible for the global success of the Organization achieving its targets. Together, the Group, the Board and the CEO assure MIG Capital Europe Organization’s accomplishment of its mission, vision, strategy and the accountability of the Organization to its diverse constituents.
Responsibilities:
Management and administration
- Providing general oversight of all activities, managing the day-to-day operations, and assuring a smoothly functioning, efficient organization.
- Assuring quality and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation.
- Managing the continuity, change and transition
- Ensuring relevant theoretical and practical expertise and advisory capacity within staff;
- Developing an appropriate employee/team structure within MIG Capital UK;
- Ensuring recruitment, selection and development of the team;
- Specifying accountabilities for management personnel and evaluating performance regularly.
- Ensuring implementation of the new products, services and processes devised by head office.
Regulatory and legal compliance
- Ensuring operations are in line and monitors compliance with the relevant laws and regulations;
Strategy and planning
- Preparing and implement the strategic and annual plans and ensure that these are formally updated on a regular basis, as well as whenever necessary to reflect significant changes;
- Ensuring MIG Capital UK is run on sound commercial and professional principles and that its defined corporate objectives are pursued. Accordingly the CEO shall initiate short, medium and long-term strategies, action plans and targets in line with the defined vision, mission and objectives of MIG Capital UK;
- Performing regular reviews of MIG Bank’s competitive environment and appropriate measures are taken to increase the market share and ensure that the company retains its market position as the main Forex provider globally;
- Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets;
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets;
- Increasing market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities;
Financial management
- Ensuring MIG Capital UK operates in a cost effective manner
- defining and keeping an annual budget and cost framework for activities;
- Providing advice on matters concerning changes in investment strategy, asset classes and asset allocation;
- Overseeing the fiscal activities of the organization including budgeting, reporting and audit.
Governance
- Keeping the Board duly informed about the condition of MIG Capital Europe and the factors influencing it, about its effectiveness and results.
- Working in close collaboration with the Board and Executive Committee in order to ensure optimal performance and results.
- Preparing the basis for decisions to be taken by the Board and the Executive committee;
Relationships with stakeholders and community
- Acting as an ambassador and role model for MIG Capital UK;
- Facilitating the integration MIG Capital in the community by using effective marketing and communications activities.
- Acting as an advocate, within the public and private sectors, for issues relevant to MIG Capital Europe, its services and constituencies.
- Listening to clients in order to improve services.
- Initiating, developing, and maintaining cooperative relationships with key constituencies.
Your profile:
- Minimum 10 years in banking/finance, hereof minimum 5 years in a top management role within Forex;
- MBA, Master’s of Finance or a diploma deemed equivalent;
- Excellent knowledge of Forex is mandatory to be successful in this role;
- Excellent communicator; Conveys a professional and positive image and attitude. Establishes strong and appropriate relationships with the Board, the group, committees, staff, and clients. Develops smooth and constructive relationships with executive colleagues, outside agencies, organizations and individuals.
- Good high level strategic sales skills B2B and B2C; Handles detailed,complex concepts and problems, balances multiple tasks simultaneously, and makes rapid decisions regarding administrative issues.
- Extensive experience in negotiating with decision takers in world leading banks and financial institutions;
- Plans and meets deadlines. Maintains a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of executivemanagement. Hours may be long and irregular.

A high level of personal skills is required to make formal, persuasive presentations to groups and to deal effectively with people from all segments of the community.
- Leading change: The chief executive possesses the skills and implements the functions of a leader. S/he shares MIG Capital’s values, mission and vision. S/he consistently displays integrity, models behavior, develops people, and builds teams. This individual deals effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements interventions.
- Motivating: The CEO manages continuity, change and transition. This individual knows how to influence and enable others. S/he addresses the impact of attitude and action on the organization and its team members.
