Based within our Newbury Head Office and reporting to the PA to the Chief Executive, the core of this role is to provide high quality administrative assistance to the Chief Executive team, which includes the Chief Executive and the Strategy Team. Administrative responsibilities include copy typing, purchasing, organising and coordinating Board and staff meetings (on and off-site), managing diaries, distributing correspondence, maintaining accurate filing records and preparing rooms for Management Board, Committee and Working Group meetings. We are looking for someone who can also keep our intranet site refreshed and up to date.

This is an excellent opportunity to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies to ensure an integrated contribution to Sovereign's corporate objectives; with the chance to gain experience in minute taking in key internal meetings.

You will have gained experience within a varied and responsible administrative role, possess good written English skills and demonstrate the necessary professional, confidential and diplomatic attributes required to work effectively within this senior management team environment. You will remain calm under pressure, demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Experience of minute-taking is desirable.
