An opportunity has arisen for a Chief Finance Officer or Finance Director who likes a challenge.
My client is a bank based in Kabul, Afghanistan, who are part of a global organisation who are looking for a new member of staff to join their European team.
The position is Chief Finance Officer or Finance Director of the 35 branches based in Afghanistan. You will be working very closely alongside the CEO and you will both be essential to pushing the bank forward.
Requirements:
Must have full qualifications (ACA,ACCA,CIMA or equivalent)
Must have CFO, FD or Group FC (if larger company) experience.
Must have experience within the banking sector or similar (Insurance etc)
Must had experience working within Europe.
Working in a similar environment or location would be beneficial.
There are a Senior team of 6 individuals who have all worked within Europe and so a similar individual is also required for the position.
The individual will be looking after 14 members of accounting staff so experience of running a team would be highly beneficial.
The role is for a minimum of 2 years which will offer a very senior position in a Bank/Banking environment.
The role has also become available due to expansion as they are growing and becoming more successful.
