Chief Financial Officer Job in Albany, New York US


Orange AHRC is seeking an experienced CFO for our diverse not-for-profit multi-funded organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities. 

Position reports to Executive Director and requires demonstrated knowledge of regulations pertaining to compliance, reporting and rate setting for OPWDD, SED, HUD. Fulfills a strategic role in the overall management of the Agency. 

Day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities including complex program offerings under diverse state, federal and private funding sources.  Direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing. Oversees all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the Agency in conjunction with the Executive Director and BOD. 

BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable.  Significant knowledge and experience with at least 12 to 15 years of broad finance experience in not-for-profit multi-funded organizations.  Sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance and reporting with a budget of at least $30 million.
