HMEA, is currently seeking an entrepreneurial and results driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with strong project management skills. The CFO should demonstrate adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness in setting priorities and managing resources in a fast-pace, dynamic non-profit environment.
Working with the senior team and Board of Directors, the CFO will develop the financial plan linking the organization’s mission and vision to measurable financial goals and helping the organization determine relationship between strategy and financial capability for activities of HMEAs departments, programs, and individuals.
HMEA is a human services agency that supports individuals with disabilities. HMEA's Administrative Office is located in Franklin, MA, but our service area extends to over 110 communities in the State's Central, Southeastern and Eastern regions. We have a long history of providing innovative services in school, at work, at home and in the community and HMEA now serves 2,700 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree in Business Management/Finance preferred; Experience with LEAN enterprise; minimum of eight years of fiscal management experience preferred.
Responsibilities include:
· Preparation of current financial reports, summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.
· Oversees accounting, budget investments, and audit activities with the support of the business office.
· Oversees financial and accounting system controls and standards and ensures timely financial and statistical reports for management and or Board use.
· Creates and provides strategic business plans and financial projections for HMEA construction projects, Children’s Division, Cloud 4 Causes, Wellness Program.
· Ensures compliance with governing laws and regulations
· Manages and evaluates Business Office Staff and Director of Information Technology
· Effectively communicates with staff, senior team, board members.
