EMEA Operate Team Lead
The Chief Investment Office is part of the Corporate Sector of JPMorgan Chase, managing structural interest rate and foreign exchange risk, and investing the firm's capital, using a wide range of financial products.
This position within the CIO EMEA technology team will support CIO technology solutions, which include a web based trade entry application, a comprehensive risk and PL application and a number of more tactical applications.
It is both a client focussed and technical role in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment.

Description
As a member of the London team, located adjacent to the front office and operations/finance teams, this person will lead the first-line support of applications developed by CIO Technology.
The role is suitable for an individual who wants to work closely with a complex trading business.
Technical skills are required, as is a pragmatic attitude and ability to work directly with a demanding users.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordination of all resources involved in daily operate/support activities, in which you will also participate.Tracking, investigation and escalation of daily support issues with trade management and risk/Pnl systems.Consistent and accurate delivery of live and close-of-business market data.Providing direct support (e.g. trouble-shooting) to London traders for locally developed "RAD" solutions and strategic risk/PL applications.Participation in rota for early support (from 7am) or lates (to 7pm).Managing weekly meetings with application developers to discuss support issues for the week and run through outstanding issues.Providing weekly management statistics.Regularly reviewing the operate processes and procedures, ensuring they are pertinent, efficient and effective, modifying and changing where appropriate.Building out support tools and frameworks to help troubleshoot and deal with problems more efficiently.Fostering knowledge capture and sharing across all staff involved in support activities.Involvement in wider projects, typically in testing or deployment planning.

Qualifications
EducationBachelors or Masters degree in a technical/numerate discipline.
ExperienceSignificant previous
experience in a technical support role.
