Chief Investment Officer – Independent Multi-Strategy Investment Manager recruitment
Independent and active Multi-Strategy Investment Manager with a healthy balance sheet and a 10 year plus track record is seeking a Chief Investment Officer. The company is fully regulated and currently has approximately $450m under management allocated in single manager, fund of hedge fund and feeder funds.
You will take chief responsibility for trading strategy and sit on the investment committee. The role would suit an experienced investment professional who has demonstrated leadership skills in terms of motivating a small but experienced team and driving investment strategy.
You will have experience as an analyst within an asset manager, hedge fund or investment bank and have undertaken stock-picking ideally across multiple sectors. You will have leadership experience and be comfortable with taking responsibility for investment strategy and have considerable exposure to alternative investments/hedge funds.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a forward thinking Chairman. There is a sound and proven operational and marketing infrastructure in place which means this is a good vehicle to integrate and grow your own investment and trading strategies. The organisation is also fully authorised by the FSA and SEC and is a member of respected industry bodies.
The role has the option of being based in London or Zurich with a preference for the former as their strategy is to build their UK presence. In London they have offices based in the heart of Mayfair.
