Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Board Certified Physician with experience in the field of Health IT to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chantilly, Virginia.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining relationships with clinical/medical staff within the Government and with private-sector clinical partners.
· Will work to ensure that the scientific and technology roadmap, investment strategies, and new business proposals include appropriate clinical/medical considerations.
· Will develop and implement the clinical/medical aspects of a new business strategy for clinical information systems and health information exchange in the private sector; and
· Will consult on regulatory aspects, clinical requirements and overall thought leadership regarding the design, deployment and training of ongoing programs.
Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate:
· Candidate should be a current or prior Board Certified Military Health Physician - with experience working within the Military Health System and/or Service-specific health organizations (e.g., Air Force Medical Support Agency, Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, US Army Medical Command)
- Must have background in Health Information Technology applications.
Minimum Education / Experience:
· 14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity and experience working with the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) and/or the VA.
· Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs Integrated Electronic Health Record (iEHR) initiative.
· Experience with the military health managed systems such and AHLTA and CHCS and/or VA system (VISTA)
- Washington programs / policy experience
