Anchorage, Alaska ndash; Providence Health Services in Alaska is recruiting for an exceptional physician leader to serve as the Chief Medical Officer for operations state-wide. Based in Anchorage, this is a senior management role with primary accountability to identify opportunities for improvement and achieve superior outcomes in clinical services throughout the regional system. Operations include an integrated medical group operating in Anchorage, Eagle River and the Mat-Su Valley, as well as hospitals and other services in Anchorage, Kodiak, Seward and Valdez. The CMO advises and assists service area and medical group leaders on clinical leadership development, quality management and performance improvement, among other areas. Principal accountabilities include: bull; Leading the development of programs and services that enhance the quality of clinical services. bull; Developing programs that focus on improving clinical and economic performance in critical service lines. bull; Leading the development and implementation of various tools and services to help physicians and other health professionals to more effectively and efficiently deliver patient care. bull; Monitoring staff and budgeting sources in order to assist in the design and implementation of innovative and effective clinical services and programs that respond to customer needs and fulfill Providence Health Services business development goals.
