Chief of Research – High Frequency Trading – Proprietary Firm recruitment
Our client is looking for a Chief of Research to form the initial launch team and become a Senior Partner to work with the Co-Founders on cutting edge, high frequency cross asset trading strategies.
This firm has a unique and advanced scientific strategy which will be underpinned by the latest Machine Learning techniques. In this role you will be required to lead and constantly innovate theoretical ML advances and understand the justifications that are required when evolving these. Due to this, the work is highly scientific in nature and will work alongside employees with similar backgrounds in a collaborative and academic, lab research environment.
On offer is the potential to come in pre-launch with a well-funded start-up in a position to discuss senior partnership, equity share and profit based bonus schemes with very competitive basic salaries.
The key is that this person will have technically applied and innovated techniques and will understand the different pay off that is required when evolving these specfically in the HFT field. A firm understanding of the underlying mathematics will also be needed to adapt modelling techniques to fit the problem space. The resulting codebase will be at the forefront of machine learning and pushing its boundaries into new and exciting areas.
Our client has a particular interest in speaking to candidates who have innovated Sparse Models/Support Vector Machine and those who have developed hybrid novel techniques.
