Deliver Superior Financial Performance
Identify revenue opportunities and remove internal blockages (as part of CoE - Executional Excellence)

Develop a comprehensive range of regional metrics to facilitate decision-making
Strategy implementation:
Assist with strategy formulation and execution for the region, advising the CEO and the CEO's management teams.
Liaise with the CEOs in the Africa region on reporting and deliverables
Consolidating relevant information/ research in preparatory work for key meetings/ interactions.
Developing and executing key internal communications working with relevant business/ function heads.
Leading and executing select business/ functional projects

Work with the Regional Management team to highlight and resolve trade-offs between competing regional investments and agendas.

Drive a strategic agenda for the region, ensuring it has a forward looking
view, which recognizes Support Functions as being a leading facilitator of regional growth.

Ensure the regional infrastructure is in place to support the business growth.

Assist in the delivery of the management agenda, taking the lead on key and new initiatives and monitoring for effective implementation and results. Assist with integrations of capability acquisitions in the region.

Take responsibility for regional budget and forecasting.

Provide timely and succinct regional updates as requested by the Africa CEO

Continuously Improve the Way we Work
Assist the Africa CEO to proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage and improve the risk and compliance environment leading to highest standards of risk management, consistent with both internal and regulatory policies.

Standardize key processes in the region and ensure infrastructure is fit for growth. Identify and execute ad-hoc improvements to processes and policies.
Coordinate, review and assess operational losses logged including facilitating write-ups and post implementation monitoring of corrective actions

Coordinate all audits impacting the region. Ensure no audit fails

Improve communication between the region and ARO, functional and country business,
support and control function teams.

Massively Multiply our leadership capability
Build and maintain key relationships across different stakeholders, including people, community investors and regulators.
Back up/stand in for CEO Africa as required
Assist the CEO Africa, business and support functions to develop and refresh strategies for countries within the region, across all products and geographies, with specific responsibility for planning and coordination of these efforts.

Strengthen our right partner relationships
Facilitate regulatory initiatives and ensure no fails of external audits and inspections
Assist the CEO Africa to embed governance model and improve controls measured by operational losses and audit success.

Reinforce the Brand and Culture

Improve communication between the business and support functions, both product and geography. Ensure effective communication of key business messages.
Responding and following up on communications addressed to the Regional CEO.
