Chief Operatiing Officer recruitment
My client a bank with an excellent track record for performance, profitability and staff retention is looking for a COO to oversee their European business (London based)
Key lines of jurisdiction include:
• Capital Markets, desks across Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX and Derivatives
• Wholesale Transaction banking, pan European relationship driven initiative
• Investment Banking Corporate Finance
• Operational Risk
• I.T.
You will spearhead strategic initiatives both bank wide and within the individual business areas as per above; these will include: technological change, investment strategy itself e.g. procurement of banking licenses if and where needed, cost saving initiatives, changes to team structure including new hires / headcount, MIS Reporting.
Candidates will need to have ideally held a C-Level position or perhaps a European head of (X). Capital Markets coverage is the most important of the banking businesses, FX Fixed Income product and front to back functional knowledge and tangible experience is key. Job spec is available
