Chief Operating Officer – Real Estate – Singapore, APAC recruitment
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Managing the Business Support and Control functions of the Company including Operations, REIT Development and Risk Management
- Taking the leading role and working closely with the business functions to drive the development of the REIT Development, Risk Management and Business support function locally in line with global direction in a consistent, effective and efficient manner.
- Overseeing outsourced functions within the Group. Coordinate, negotiate and communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects can be implemented on time without adverse business impact.
- Providing recommendations to the CEO on planning the direction, structure and future objectives of the REIT. Assisting the CEO with corporate planning and development, which may include development of a longer-term strategic plan, business venture evaluation and product/business segment changes.
- Representing the company in critical relationships with key outside service providers, regulator’s and others as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Degree in Business, Operations or related
- At least 12 years of experience in a Asset Management environment (Real Estate experience preferable)
- A team player who demonstrates strong general management and leadership skills
- Cross cultural mindset and experience in delivering projects with cross-border teams
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with a demonstrable understanding of asset management risk principles
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing abilities, supported with diplomacy, team working skills
