Chief Operating Officer recruitment

The COO will work closely with the Chairman and Chief Executive in developing and executing the vision of the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

.Experience with building out an alternative strategy platform.
.Supervises all aspects of the products and services generated by the company
.Carries out managerial functions like planning, strategizing, scheduling, budgeting, execution, verifying results and developing policies
. Manages all administrative functions
.Creates policies for internal management
.Communicates with the Chairman/CEO and the Board of Directors of the company
.Works with the CEO, CFO and the managers to ensure smooth operations
.Maintains the quality of products, brand image and goodwill of the company in the marketplace
.Deals with all employee issues in a fair and legal manner
.Ensures absolute compliance with all SEC and FINRA regulations and laws.
.Streamlines the organizational structure to improve its effectiveness in servicing clients
.Ensures equality, fair practices and correct recruitment and hiring policies of the company
.Participates in all committee and Board meetings
.Ensures operational excellence at all time remembering the client is always right and comes first
 

The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of operational experience with at least 5 years as a Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer or Senior Managing Director accountable and responsible for profit and loss in a rapidly changing financial services environment. Senior investment bankers with operational experience will also be considered. The selected candidate will have demonstrated prior success in a financial services start up environment working for an investment bank, brokerage firm or private equity firm. The individual must be registered with the SEC with a Series 7, 63, 24, 27 or 28.
