Job Duties:
- Provide leadership, direction and management for financial accounting, taxes and business activities.
- Supervise the preparation and maintenance of required reconciliations, schedules and journal entries in support of financial statement assertions.
- Timely communicate business issues and solutions.
- Think outside of the box to develop new / revised means and methods.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of income tax requirements for individuals, trusts, foundations and corporations.
- B.S. in Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting and/or finance.
- Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience; audit manager and CPA a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of overall financial and managerial accounting experience
- Proven track record of progressive leadership and management
- Must be a self starter who initiates, not waits until told. Works well under pressure within a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Natural ability and experience with complex quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify issues and solutions, and ensure timely project completion with minimal supervision.
- Master skill level in EXCEL mandatory with strong spreadsheet skills. Excellent PC knowledge (MS Office) and Quickbooks also required.
- Proven capacity to perform as a top 10%-er (“A” player) and demonstrate a positive attitude as a team player.
