Eaton Corporation ??s Aerospace Group is seeking a group functional leader and subject matter expert in program management Integrated Master Scheduling to support all 4 divisions across the Aerospace Group. This position will be located in our Irvine, CA location but can also be located in any Aerospace office in the United States. This role is primarily responsible for establishing, leading, deploying and maintaining all program planning and scheduling standards, processes and tools Aerospace group wide. Includes indirect functional leadership responsibility for the 15+ program master schedulers deployed across the 4 divisions making up the Aerospace Group as well as deploying all required training for 80+ associates making up the program management function. Specific Responsibilities are as follows: A. Defines and implements Program Planning Control standards, processes and tools. Leads process improvements to ensure execution of contract deliverables within time and budget constraints. B. Promotes and drives the knowledge areas of Schedule Development, Analyses (eg: critical path, PERT, Monte Carlo, etc) Maintenance and Control. C. Champions program planning and scheduling methodology deployment across the group. D. Develops and monitors compliance to policies, procedures and templates through audits. E. Implements and standardizes defined metrics across the Aerospace group for effective oversight and consistent reporting. F. Provides mentoring and growth opportunities within the program planning organization. G. Ensures Next Gen PROLaunch is properly and consistently embedded into planning and scheduling process. H. Defines and implements program planning training requirements and champions certification programs. I. Defines and manages program planning and control goals to align with overall corporate goals and strategy. J. Drives program planning competency improvements by establishing the right metrics, identifying required achievement levels and potential gap closure tools. K. Conducts periodic reviews with senior leadership to report performance against objectives. L. Coordinates closely with IT for establishing requirements and time lines of required planning tools (hardware and software). M. Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining detailed resource-loaded schedules in MS Project. N. Work with program managers to develop detailed schedules and assist the program managers in keeping those schedules current. O. Coordinate with program management the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule. Preferred Criteria - - Experienced in managing development programs schedules in Aerospace industry. - Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional credentials (PMI-SP) or other equivalent accreditation recognizing demonstrated knowledge and advanced expertise preferred, or drive to achieve credentials. - Microsoft Project power-user; proven expert-level experience with MS EPM (project server). - Proven expert knowledge and experience in scheduling and resource management technical techniques, including critical path analyses, Monte Carlo Analyses, PERT, etc. - Proficient with Microsoft Business Software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel). - Excellent communications skills ?" both verbal and written with ability to teach, provide status reports, make recommendations and conduct technical presentations to both the Eaton management and the customer. - Proven capability to lead change in a global team environment. - Strong analytical skills and business acumen. - Ability to manage both horizontally and vertically within a matrix organization to achieve goals. - Broad knowledge of the Aerospace industry. Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical) from an accredited institution - Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Planning and Control in an aerospace environment - U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required. Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 10%
