Chief Risk Officer

This role will provide independent risk management function in the bank as CRO and a Head of Risk Management and will carry out the FSA CF14 Approved Person function.

The candidate will be responsible for:
- The management of a broad range of risks that the firm is exposed to, including credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, operational risk and reputation risk;
- The Risk Appetite statement and limits based on the firm`s business strategy;
- Overseeing the production and the process of risk reports including the appropriateness of the process and the outcomes of risk reporting;
- Presiding over various credit risk - risk committees;

The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong track record within a comparable financial institution in a senior Risk Management role.
- A broad range of risk experience across credit, market, operational, reputational, regulatory and compliance risk.
- Knowledge of the risks associated with: DCM, ECM, Fixed Income Sales Trading, Equity Sales Trading, MA and Derivatives.
