Job Description
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial CTO to build the platform that will define the next major global economy – one driven by purpose. 40 years after his uncle coined the term ‘information economy,’ top social entrepreneur Aaron Hurst and Imperative are architecting the new economy built on unlocking purpose for people in their work and lives. Our goal is simple: change the economy to put people first.
Our core strategy is to develop an online platform that will be the foundation for this emerging economy and enable millions of people to engage in its development. The CTO will be the first member of our technology team and thus responsible for both building our platform and our technology team and approach.
Skills Requirements
We are looking for someone with experience building complex consumer-facing platforms from the ground up. The ideal Imperative technology leader is resourceful, high energy and a technical visionary who sees technology not as an end but a means to help people and organizations realize their potential.
As we grow, the CTO will be able to attract and engage top technology talent and make Imperative an employer of choice in the field. They will lead by example and inspire innovation, commitment and ingenuity across the organization.
The CTO will join the Imperative leadership team of experienced and entrepreneurial design thinkers to create the platform. The role will report direct to Imperative’s CEO, Aaron Hurst.
