Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Company team to ensure deliver new business plan
- Strategize work with wider team to set and implement this for underwriting
- Oversee case underwriting referral service, training programs and audits
- Client focus – build strong relationships and provide consultancy services
- Develop and implement company's underwriting policy and principles and ensure risks assumed on a sound and profitable basis
- Develop and conduct appropriate underwriting training programs for clients
- Manage the underwriting team to ensure delivery of underwriting services
- Provide input to tenders and product development
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant Life Health insurance or reinsurance underwriting experience, preferably with regional/international exposure
- University Degree or similar qualification
- Strong analytical skills
- Broad range of product experience with authorities which reflect this
- Good team player and self-starter; able to interact with people at various levels
