A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Glen Huntley area for two diploma qualified staff members looking to join a highly motivated and professional team. This popular and well resourced centre is looking for outstanding Diploma qualified early childhood educators to work in their highly regarded babies and toddler rooms. It has a child-centred philosophy and is committed to providing play-based programs for children and working in partnerships with families.
The centre is looking for Diploma qualified educators to work alongside a room leader in their 16 place, babies’ room and 24 place, toddlers room. You will be working alongside 3 experienced assistants and will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the new Early Years’ Frameworks in your programming, taking observations and maintaining the children's portfolio's and ensuring that the children's needs are met throughout the day.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Diploma of Children’s Services
- Current First Aid certificate and Anaphylaxis training
- Working With Children Card
- A solid understanding of the EYLF
- Good leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for early childhood education and be a team player. You will also need to be confident in dealing and liaising with the parents of the centre.
