China Strategy and Liaison Officer, Asset Management recruitment

Currently, we are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic fund management professional with good Mainland China market knowledge to focus on assisting our senior management to assist in coordinating and developing our Mainland China business.
Main responsibilities include
- Coordinate and follow through the entire process on QFII quota applications, liaise with various parties (i.e. global custodian, local custodian, brokers and JFAM / JPMAM as the QFII owner) in relation to a number of QFII-related legal documents (i.e. Operating Agreement, Custodian Agreement, Broker Agreement, Service Level Agreement, etc.)
- Build and maintain good relationship between relevant parties such as internal parties, regulatory officials and custodians, liaise with them to understand latest regulatory development and QFII quota approval status
- Prepare QFII quarterly and annual compliance as well as other ad-hoc reports as requested by Mainland China Regulator(s)
- Prepare regular MIS, presentations and status reports to senior management on JPMAM Mainland China business and assist managers to perform related ad-hoc special projects
- Support senior management to further develop Mainland China business opportunities when they arise
- Assist in introducing and transferring JPMAM best practices to other JPMAM affiliate businesses in Mainland China
- Assist in perform in-depth research on trends/products, competitive analysis for Mainland China market
- Assist manager to prepare investment plan, presentation materials and other necessary corresponding documentations for business development activities
Skills
- Around 5 years of working experiences with investor relations, client relations and project coordination background; solid QFII documentation handling experience is a plus
- Sound investment product knowledge in particularly on Asset Management business with understanding of Mainland China financial market, ideally with QFII quota related experience
- Meticulous and detailed minded, sound influencing, partnering and coordination skills, able to be proactive in follow through things
- Self-starter to work in a self-contained role while being able to work as a team
- Possess exceptional communication with certain understanding of Mainland China culture
- Strong English and Chinese (Simplified Chinese) writing skills is a must, fluency in Mandarin with good English communication skills
- Possess great work ethics and positive attitudes towards meeting new challenges
- Creative and sound analytical skills (i.e. think outside the box)
