CI RA Business Development Manager WA
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to join the Retail Advice Sales team based in Perth. You will build long term adviser relationships with the overall goal of exceeding new business targets and expanding distribution capacity.
About the role
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of state sales activity strategies along with associated business plans to meet agreed targets. You will follow the segmentation servicing strategy, and deliver the segment value propositions to a portfolio of allocated advisers. You will also be responsible for the movement growth of advisers through the segmentation model to improve production per adviser.
Your success will be measured through:
- Minimum of 12 face to face contacts per week with highly rated advisers that are either existing advisers or potential new advisers
- Average of 27 proactive / reactive telephone meetings per week with highly rated advisers that are either existing advisers or potential new advisers
- Identifying need for underwriter sessions and/or Business Growth Services seminars and assist in the execution of these as required
- Financial adviser financial viability and growth. Ensure that financial advisers continue to grow at increasing levels of profitability
You will have
- Passion for driving sales growth and ability to regularly meet or exceed sales targets
- Extensive Business Development Experience from within Insurance
- Up to date RG146 qualifications
- Completed or working towards completion of Diploma of Financial Planning
- Employ customer focussed behaviour with respect to attentiveness and overall responsiveness
- An understanding of the incremental, long-term activities (personal and private) necessary to develop personal rather than simple commercial relationships
- Determination to be persuasive in a sales driven environment
