Main Responsibilities:

• Execute the J.P. Morgan Risk Management strategy and support the Investor Services Australia and New Zealand strategy
• Partners with all Australia and New Zealand business and functional colleagues to guide consistent and rigorous risk management practices, risk event analysis and operational/credit risk reporting
• Facilitate end to end/deep dive reviews of key processes, provide insights and feedback to business partners, and ensure integrity in the review process itself
• Manages credit requirements and reviews existing credit lines for suitability and makes additional credit requests where required.
• Guides product managers and stakeholders through the approval of new products / initiatives, ensuring that all relevant risk issues are clearly communicated and addressed.
• A leader in the monthly Investor Services Risk Committee, ensuring engagement and ownership from all business functions, encompassing reporting from all other risk and control functions

Experience/Qualifications Required:

• Financial services background required, with at least 8-10 years experience in Management and Risk roles, knowledge of securities processing, funds management, treasury services highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of multiple business disciplines (operations, sales, product, credit, finance, client, etc.)
• Experience in interacting with global partners and senior management across the organization
• Qualifications and experience in a Risk Management role preferred
