EMEA Financial Institutions Group Sales
The EMEA Treasury Services Sales coverage team is effectively split into Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Corporate. Financial Institutions Group (FIG) EMEA sales has built a strong franchise with 800 key relationships across banks, non-bank financial institutions and their subsidiaries in the region. The TS Sales role responsibility combines managing existing client relationships and building new business. The teams work closely with the Corporate Bank, Compliance and Risk to manage client relationships and work in partnership with the various TS product areas of Core Cash Management, Liquidity, FX and Trade.
Team Description
Reporting to the Head of EMEA FIG Sales, the Head of FI Sales for the UK, Ireland Nordics, Baltics and Israel will have responsibility for managing a team of Treasury Sales Managers (TSM) and developing a large and diversified franchise of existing key relationships but also Public Sector and JP Morgan intercompany and affiliates.
The majority of the Team is based in London with the exception of one TSM covering Nordic clients out of the JP Morgan Helsinki branch office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute sales strategy in conjunction with other Lines of Business, and in collaboration with client service, product, operations, technology, risk, credit and legal
- Achievement of personal sales target and, in addition, oversight /management of the team to achieve the team sales plan
- Set and Execute portfolio revenue, credit/revenue ratios, new business, retention, client satisfaction targets
- Developing a pipeline and generating new business revenue against plan
- Oversee the development of account plans for clients including the liaison with other lines of business (e.g. Investment Bank, Asset and Wealth Management etc.) in collaboration with client service, product, operations, technology, risk, credit legal and other areas to optimise product and service delivery in establishing and executing these plans
- Prepare and delivers sales presentations and recommends appropriate services for the team
- Ensures that call plans, sales goals and other specified project related initiatives are met or exceeded both personally and by the Team
Qualifications:
The below points have been carefully considered as being essential for this role. Your background must accurately reflect all of these for your application to be considered
- Proven track record in managing large bank relationships for Transaction Services
- You will be able to demonstrate your experience, with examples, of treasury services direct sales responsibility as well as experience of sales management. This should include examples of planning and successfully executing all stages of the complete sales lifecycle.
- Strong, demonstrable experience in leadership roles as well as relationship management and selling related products
- You will be able to demonstrate a good network within the relevant industry, plus channels and referrers
- You will be able to discuss your broad and deep knowledge of financial markets technologies and operations
- You can demonstrate how you have used your communication skills and commercial acumen to influence the COO / Operations Director of the client
- You will also be able to discuss in detail, where you have lead the commercial development of new geographies, and developed sales lines for new products.
