CIMA/ACA Qualified 2 years PQE Decision Support Analyst

A well known retail investment manager are looking to strengthen their Decision Support team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining management information (MI) for the Board. Further to this, there is a requirement to roll out MI to all levels of the organisation. The team works closely with the business and finance team and is expected to provide detailed MI as required.

Responsibilities:

-Development and review of new and existing MI
-Involvement in all aspects of analysis of the business performance including funds, revenues, cost, headcount, KPI’s and planning
-Provide value added analysis to the business and be involved in ad-hoc projects to improve the underlying processes and MI generated
-Oversee the production and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reporting for front office, ensuring reports are adequately reviewed and delivered on a timely basis
-Support of systems data project (upgrade to TM1/Business Analytics) and full review of existing data-mart to assess suitability

Skills:

-Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA)
-University degree (class 2:1 minimum)
-Excellent IT literacy skills (excel and power point) and preferred working knowledge of Cognos/CODA.
-Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
-Adaptable with the ability to manage a number of tasks simultaneously and prioritise them
