JOB OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking a Cisco certified IT racking specialist to not only rack Cisco network gear in the data center, but also to fill one of the longer term facility rack and stack roles. The specialist will be required to unload assets from trucks, store assets, enter asset inventory into system/spreadsheet, rack and connect hardware devices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Skills would include compute and network hardware handling guideline awareness, cable management and power standards, and hardware certifications.
- CCNA certification is a nice to have.
- Requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years hands on experience with data centre facilities management with working experience in coordinating rack locations, power, and cabling needs.
