Our client, a leader in the IT industry, is looking for Network Engineer /Specialist who shares their value of Customer First to join their Network Engineering Team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Cisco hardware / software to support production clients
- Provide network design and configure and install routers/switches/firewall/VPN concentrators.
- Develop, test and update processes and procedures
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, identify/resolve technical issues.
Technical Skills:
- 3-5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in CME, CUCM, UNITY, UCCX, Meeting Place and RS
- Current CCNP Voice / CCVP
- Knowledge and experience in VPN, Firewall, load-balancing, network security, and network management platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience required.
- Strong technical leadership skills with a solid knowledge and experience in Cisco
- Experienced in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network infrastructure
- Experience in configuring and installing technologies such as switched Ethernet/Fast Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet and various routing (static, ripv1/v2, EIGRP, and BGP)
Personal Skills Required:
- Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and directed fashion, and lead teams in such situations as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must possess an exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve project issues and challenges
- Strong attention to detail and deadline orientation
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must be accustomed and adept at working on various issues simultaneously, ensuring the integrity of each project.
