Citrix Virtualisation Consultants/ Developers (C# or Java with SQL or Oracle)
A leading energy and financial provider of software to the global markets is currently hiring for Senior Citrix Virtualisation Consultants/ Developers (C# or Java with SQL or Oracle) to work directly with the buyers of their solutions to implement the solutions in accordance to their varying architectures. This is both a software and hardware role where you will be assisting your clients with technical upgrades across both.
This role is about the preparation for and installation of a product onto client site and will demand you to be an expert in technical architecture, Virtualisation, networks, storage, VMWare and TIBCO. Your communication skills will be in great demand - you won't be making small tweaks to existing systems instead building complex and highly customised integrations.
The company is one of the most well-known providers of software solutions in the energy and financial markets today and as such they are not only looking at people with working knowledge of front, middle or back office working within investment banking or a trading firm - instead they are considering highly communicative Citrix Virtualisation Consultants who can explain their projects, systems and technologies with ease.
The Citrix Virtualisation Consultant / Development role (C# or Java and SQL) will necessitate you to learn the firm's products and the as an expert of these systems be a part of the Technical Implementation Team use your technical and business abilities to assist in on boarding and architecture.
The successful Technical Consultant will have the following skills:
* CITRIX (essential)
* VMware (essential)
* Tibco or MQ (desirable)
* C# .NET Development Skills or Java (of interest)
* SQL and or Oracle (essential)
* Tech architecture (essential)
* Implementation experience (of interest)
* Experience in finance or energy (NOT essential - outside financial services will be considered)
* Excellent communication (essential)
* Passion for travel (desirable - as this role may require European travel to client site)
This role will allow you to become an expert with your particular product field and will encourage a technical and business individual to manager entire implementations over time. You will be given thorough training in both your technical ability and will be given lots of training in financial services and energy trading. For this Citrix Virtualisation Consultant (C# or Java and SQL) you will be expected to interface directly with your clients and will travel to European based client sites as well as be someone who thrives as a technologist in a business facing environment.
